Kanye West has announced that he will premiere his new short art film ‘Cruel Summer’ on May 23rd at this years Cannes Film Festival. The short is said to be inspired by the hotly anticipated G.O.O.D Music compilation album of the same name. Describing the film, the press release said that it was “a fusion of short film and art installation” and an “immersive seven-screen experience.”

After its debut, the film will then be open to the public for two days – on the 24th and 25th of May. Tickets are on a first come first served basis and are available here.

Legendary disco diva Donna Summer has died, aged 63.

TMZ is reporting that Summer had been battling cancer.

Sources at TMZ also state that she had been trying to keep her illness under wraps for some time and was attempting to finish an album she was working on.

Summer is best known for disco hits including ‘Last Dance’ ‘Bad Girls’ ‘On The Radio’ and ‘She Works Hard For The Money’ and was a five-time Grammy winner.

RIP Donna Summer

Debuted on the official James Bond website 007.com, the first trailer will also debut on the website on Monday, 21st May at 5pm GMT.

‘Skyfall’ – starring Daniel Craig is set to be released on October 26 and November 9 in the UK and US respectively.

Today, Jay-Z will announce that he will be the curator and headlining performer at the first Budweiser Made in America music festival, a two-day event that will bring as many as 28 musical acts to Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.

The festival, which will be produced by Live Nation, is to be formally unveiled at a Monday morning news conference with Jay-Z and Mayor Michael A. Nutter of Philadelphia.
